Congress Theme
WELLNESS, SUSTAINABILITY & SPIRITUALITY: Indian Ethos to Global Hospitality Education
The theme for 64th EUHOFA Congress highlights India’s holistic approach to hospitality, where well-being, mindfulness, and sustainability are inseparable from service excellence.
As the global hospitality industry seeks meaning beyond material luxury, India offers a model rooted in Ayurveda, yoga, community, and conscious living—blended today with innovation and eco-design. This congress aims to showcase this to the participants who can in turn create meaningful learning experiences to the aspiring hospitality students.

EUHOFA International, founded in 1955, is the world's first and longest-standing international association of hotel, tourism, and culinary arts schools. It brings together over 200 member institutions across more than 30 countries on six continents, connecting the directors and deans who shape hospitality education worldwide. Since 1962, EUHOFA's flagship annual Congress has served as the association's most important gathering. A forum where hospitality educators exchange best practices, debate emerging trends, and build the international partnerships that drive the profession forward.
-
For the first time, the Congress turns to India as a source of insight for the global hospitality industry. This edition of the Congress examines what India's approach to hospitality, where guest care, community, and conscious living have long been intertwined, can offer educators shaping the profession's future. Over three days, delegates will hear from hospitality veterans, culinary professionals, wellness practitioners, and tourism development officials, and experience first-hand a few organisations that embody the warmth and generosity of Atithi Devo Bhava - the age-old Indian belief that the guest is akin to god.
